EMAIL ATTACHMENT VIRUS?

EMAIL ATTACHMENT VIRUS?

Hey. Sorry for the caps, just trying to get your attention. I got an email tonight from Sean Brown, Neovault. There was some type of attatchment and the text of the email was "The snake." I didn't open it, but does anyone know if this is a virus and we are getting sent since we are on his mailing list? I was just wondering if anyone else got this as well. Thanks

DO NOT ever download any attachment unless you know that person is sending you the file...

That was a virus. Any e-mail you get that only has one or two words and includes a file without much else is DEFINTELY a virus, Unless of course that person told you they were sending it to you well before it got sent...

I got that e-mail before already, and a slightly different one from VaultnGus, and one from Peeperspv as well...

yeah, to add to this i just want to say that i did not send any mass e-mails with attachments. my comp did get a virus a few days ago, so if i sent you an e-mail, it might be wise to delete it. anyway, my comp didn't crash, it just blinked annoyingly for a while until i deleted said virus.

again! I'M SO SORRY IF ANYONE GOT THE VIRUS FROM ME! i didn't make it if that counts for anything lol

A lot of the email viruses spoof other addresses, so it looks like it came from people in your address book.
