pole vaulting is probably everyone's main focus, but does anyone do any other sports? or run any events for that matter? i'm a cross country/distance runner and i primarily do the 3200m and 1600m in track. it's a wierd comination, but it works. i used to play basketball, but gave that up for cc and vaulting.

well, sometimes i run the 200, and in the fall my time is taken up by marching band (which IS as strenuous as ANY sport...don't let anyone tell you different)...and i used to be in gymnastics...8 years...

I'm a soph in high school. Vaulting takes up a lot of time, but I get my other events in at the meets. I long jump and triple jump as well. Triple jump is my second best event. In the off season (haha) summer rather, I keep busy with basketball and golf.

motorcycles, basketball, pool, and you cant leave out paintball. I don't know if you can classify hottubbin as a sport but I think I should be.
ahh San Diego: women, sun , beaches, pole vault, what else do you need.

When I'm not vaulting, I run cross country. 3.2 miles in open country road.

at the track meets, i run the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles in addition to the vault ... although i'm not as good as i should be at hurdles because i dont really devote a lot of time to them ... but i go to a small school , so we need to load up in the events to get points for our team against these bigger schools. so basically my coach is like " wanna pole vault? well ur gonna also have to run both hurdles and the 4X4 if you wanna vault" so yea, thats how it is lol ... hurdles can be fun tho ... not really when you screw up and totally eat the track tho :crying:
