Mullet hunting is a dangerous profession
I'm one of those people who rarely think before giving in to an impulse. While this has made life interesting, it has also lead to a few confrontations that my family would rather not talk about. (Ask Steph about the time I punched out a NYC bus! Yes, the BUS, not the driver.)
While flying out of LAX (where else?) an overweight, leather clad, 60ish, Steven Segal wannabe boarded the plane sporting a looooooonnnngggg mullet and the WORST combover (think Peter Arnett!) I had ever seen.
Being the the cosmopolitan and restrained adult that I am, I broke into gales of laughter at the mere sight of him! The fact that we were both in First Class and he had a need to pass my seat to make frequent trips to the head didn't help matters any as these repeated views of him would simply cause me to erupt again.
According to my poor embarassed wife, he spent the remainder of the flight glaring at the back of my neck. At least until we arrived and I stood up to get our stuff from the overhead bins. He took one look UP at me and quickly scurried off the plane avoiding eye contact.
That's my baby girl!!

The motto of Uncle Sam's Confused Group!
Actually, having been a civilian member of the NSF when it was first developed and a long time consultant to the Atlantic Strike Team, I hold the CG in much higher regard than most.
I've also had the pleasure to hear some hair raising tales years ago from the time when the un-official CG motto was "You have to go out, but you don't have to come back".
Made a few new tales of my own as well!

James
