I have been bending the pole since I was 9, it was a 10ft 75lb. It doesnt matter, the technique you carry over is this running tall, shortening and accelerating, timing up your plant, getting good extension and a good takeoff, swinging correctly, and bar presense! You have to crawl before you walk, even if that means going back to crawling.
