When you are forced to go to a meeting at your high school guidance office, sit down in front of ALL your teachers, mother, and guidance councellor, and get yelled at for your grades dropping because:

"You spend too much time pole vaulting!! Can't you take a break from it?"

I looked in to their eyes and said: HELL NO! But I'll see what i can do about the grades

hehe

I don't know.....I guess when you work midnights (10pm-7am) at a High Speed Internet company and most of the time you're always on polevaultpower.com when you’re not talking with a customer.

While you were in the Marines and when you were visiting different countries, tried to find a track with a pole vault pit.

Have a friend that is an artist and buy only pole vault paintings from her, when she paints vaulters.

I did that for high school gymnastics. It was a pretty big pain, but it was worth it.

WHen you sprain your ankle and it swells up to the size of a grape fruit and you have to use crutches to get around but you still manage to get up a latter just so you can still rope vault.
Happened to me at Jans camp in Chicago last year.

I just bought a manual transmission truck and not only did I put vault stickers all over it but I put a small section of a broken pole in as my gear shift. It's awesome!

When you spend $12,000+ in tuition for a year of school you don't need just to use up elegibility.
