Crossbar Rules Change??

Do you think they will offer some training courses on how to put these bars up in a timely manner? I'm sorry, but I think any MORE changes to the pegs and crossbars is ridiculous!

I understand all of the pit dimension changes and standard depth settings. We want to make it a safer environment for the vaulters. BUT the other stuff is a joke and I would like to know their rational and/or motives behind these changes.

Anyone with any contacts that can clear this one up? A major equipment supplier and Manufacturer has heard nothing about a change...so maybe this "clarification" is there for those in the know and us observers can just enjoy.

as long as the crossbar is the same for everybody it shouldn't be that big of a dea......i was at a meet recently where we were short on time so the host team decided to change the crossbar and put up a bar that was falling off for everything

now that we have a few meets under out belt, has anyone seen any crossbars like this one? i have competed in two (Grand Valley State D2 and Univ. of Chicago D3) and neither had a "regulation" crossbar.
