What to do w/ a broken pole

Why dont you just duct tape your pole back together, i did it to mine. The only problem is that you have to use lots of tape and now my pole is very heavy.

You can make a real nice walking stick if you've got a section of pole long enough. Also, my coach in HS made a PR stick where he wrapped a label around it and wrote our PRs and dates. Made it easy to check progress too.

Personally, I like to shove the broken part into some soft dirt and when you pull it back up, whip it around and shoot the dirt plug across the track. It's almost as fun as shoe launching.

my coach would prolly use it for his kid....his kid is five and likes to vault (kind of). my coach made a little pole for him out of a pvc pipe.

A piece of pole at the right length makes a great didgeridoo. Just cut it off square and clean it up a bit. It is even easier to play than the real thing because you can get a nice seal from the edge. I'll have to get an all-polevaulter band together and post some jams.
