I weigh 153. So if I want a bigger pole than a 14' 160. What would be the best legal pole for me to vault on? A 14'7 155 or a 14'7 160?

14'7 155 is comparable to a 14'165

It depends on how high you are holding and how high you are vaulting. I would lean toward a stiffer 14' pole, you're barely on poles over your weight, and you are not vaulting that much higher than your hand grip, so I wouldn't be in a rush to go to a longer pole.

That is a good vault over grip height, but if you are only gripping 12'6, you DEFINITELY do NOT need a longer pole. Wait until you are gripping at least 13'6 before thinking about a longer pole, you'll probably be on a 14'170 or 14'180 by that point.
