Speedsuit?

Speedsuit?

This coming season I am considering buying a speedsuit. Pole vaulting is my only event. Is it worth it? Is there a benefit? Feel free to share personal preferences/experiences.

I bought one for my son, he did not like it, Next year in college he will have to wear one. I do not think he gave it a chance.

I personally do like the speedsuits, but actually prefer a pair of compression shorts of some sort, and then a loose fitting top or an underarmor top! I like the tank top style jersey thats dri fit more than anything else! Speedsuits are a pain in my mind, and in all honesty, a jersey isn't going to knock down the bar.... but its all preference i guess... but compression shorts seem more comfortable to me
