I'm pretty sure you can buy them now. But maybe not...
Has anyone on here actually gotten to try these out? Are they really worth the extra cash?

Re: Gill introduces the Carbon Weave pole
Heres a little background
This pole has been out for 2-3 years. They are a completely redesigned pole. Gill invested millions into state of the art equipment for this new design. International guys, as well as a few US guys, have been testing them out for the last couple years. Raphael Holdzeppes first 19ft jump was on a carbon weave. Steve lewis has jumped 18'10 on them. Hooker and markov have used them (though dont own a set yet). A handful of other germans have been jumping on them. So the hands on experimentation has been done and everyone loves them. I dont know anyone who has a single bad thing to say about them. They are easier to initially load than a carbon pole of the same flex number, yet deliver the same output up top. Most people need to use 1 pole bigger the first day on them.
I did a little testing on one myself. I was on about a .4 bigger weave, and was getting some big recoil on the top. The thing i most noticed was more time on the bottom and middle to get into better positions, and then took the ride up top. I love them
Plus they are lighter than even carbon poles.
They will still offer their carbon fx pole as well. But once you jump on these, you wont want to go back! Im excited to get my set of 16'9 weaves this winter!!!
OOPPPSS. JUST CHECKED OUT THE LINK ABOVE. sorry if any info is repetitive. still my 02 anyway

Re: Gill introduces the Carbon Weave pole
Price - they are priced the same as the previous carbon pole.
Availability - The new WEAVE pole is available as of today to all markets.
Carbon FX - The weave pole is replacing the previous model. There are still some of the old version in stock but we have not added a new pole to the line. The Carbon FX is now the Carbon FX WEAVE.
There are currently MANY different versions of the weave pole in use around the world. Most of which are "test" versions.

OH MY GOODNESS! The happiness in my life has just increased ten fold. I'm so pumped for these poles. Especially because we're buying a few new poles this year! These are topping the list right now.

Re: Gill introduces the Carbon Weave pole
How long would it take if I were to order a weave pole today since online it says they are out of stock?
And also VTechVaulter said you usually need 1 pole bigger in the first day so here's my delima: I use a 15' 155lbs 21.6 Pacer Carbon (One of the first carbons) and I am in need of a bigger pole but dont know what weight to get now from reading VTechVaulter's post. Should I get a stiff 160 or a soft 165. Please post the flex you think I should get.
Thanks

Re: Gill introduces the Carbon Weave pole
I think I saw Giovanni Lanaro use one of those at the camp I went to this winter...
I never met a pole I didn't like.

Re: Gill introduces the Carbon Weave pole
My new weave just came in today. It is very light and I cannot wait until tomorrow to hit the runway with it. It is a 15' 165 19.5 flex and feels so much lighter than fiber glass.
