which spikes help you run faster pyramid, Christmas tree, or needles?

Needles rip up mondo tracks and are almost always not allowed at meets.


Christmas trees are usually not allowed as well.


The real question is which type are allowed. PYRAMIDS


I think each brand has its own unique design and than standard types you can buy in the store. I have not seen any official studies on which spike type gives any performance advantages if there are any. I have seen studies on the type of tracks, but never on type of spikes.
