Pacer Incetive program?
I have heard that Pacer gives poles to athletes when they achieve some specific standards. You know, to promote the use of their poles among the more accomplished athletes... Is this true? If so, how does one find out more about this program? What are the standards?

You'd have to talk to Jeff Hartwig about it, last I heard he was in charge of the program. I would guess that you would have to be 5.60+ to get much of anything, but you could probably get at least get a discount as a 5.30 vaulter.

I could not locate the Division I rule online but it reads about the same as what is shown below for D II. If you want to be eligible you must be careful.
NCAA Division II Essential Rules Reference Guide
Page No. 10
_____
6. A student-athlete may not accept free-of-charge, or purchase at a discounted or reduced
price, athletics equipment, supplies or clothing that is not offered to the general student
body. Such items may be provided to student-athletes on an issuance and retrieval basis
only (Bylaw 16.11.2.5).
Talk to your coach (school or club) and have him/her contact the companies.

Oh yeah, my advice was just assuming you were planning ahead for when you graduate. If you are still in school, you can't get free stuff.
