The Pole.. Manufacturing and History

Unread postby VaultPurple » Mon Nov 16, 2009 2:59 am

I have to write a 5 page paper on the manufacturing processes of something, and I chose the pole vault pole.

I need as much info on how they manufacture pole vaulting poles now and in the past.

So if anyone knows any books on the topic or journals of some sort out there online that would be great. Or if you have ever worked at a job making pole vault poles and want to say something I can quote that would be awesome too.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks!

There are a number of posts on that topic in this forum and maybe in the Historical forum.

VP, did you remember Appendix D of BTB2 ... "The construction of flexible pole vault poles"?
