Price for used pit
What should you pay for a used pit? I know the condition has a bunch to do with it along with size but I see some nice pits selling on auctions for $300 to $500 and then I see people asking 3 to 5 thousand for them. I've looked at a couple but cant decide what a fair price is.
Winners find a way to win, losers find an excuse.

Re: Price for used pit
Three to five thousand for a complete pit in decent, useable shape is very reasonable.
Pits will sometimes sell for really cheap because they're hard to ship, and if no one in your area knows you are selling or wants to buy, you might end up selling it to skateboarders looking for cheap pieces of foam to practice stunts on.

The age ......as in years is really important. A reallt old pit (more than 10-12 years) can look fine but could be really soft (like bottom out soft). Although an old pit that has been well covered and or stored might be OK. Find out the age and storage/cover that it had if you can. Remember typically water will not hurt a pit (unless it is saturated for extended periods of time) but UV light will destroy a pit in only a couple of years (if not properly covered/protected). Good luck in your search!
