Are there and compaines that make poles besides all of the ones in America. It seems like everyone jumps on Spirts are CarbonFXs?

Nordic is a swedish company that makes poles. I think michael stolle jumped on them.

Nordic is the only brand I know of that is currently being manufactured outside of the US.

He has. Pretty impressive actually. Strong message for people searching for the perfect pole I guess.

now the question i have is are they any good compared to the poles that we have here in america?

I think a fungo sounds kinda fun to jump on....but I'm not planning on doing any jousting so I will pass on the lancet... :P

I know that on the stabhoch.com site there is a way to get to a link that shows this older lady making a pole, it's written all in German, so is that lancet or something else? I think it is pretty interesting to watch the picture series though.

http://www.ndr.de/sydney2000/interaktiv ... ng_02.html then click the green button for a while and then you are in the factory and thats where the pole making begins.

Yes that is Lancet

Interesting method they start with cloth and add Resin to the pole while on the mandrel. They even spiral like PACER

Makes the poles heavy but economical process.
