i doubt its jon nance

he was still in college in 2001. this guy said his last practices were in 2000 i blieve. plus i think jon's pr is 5.55, so opening at 5.50 would be pretty huge. doable i suppose

On my list above, Barkdull opened at and cleared 1st attempt a 5.66 PR.

Hickl was a D II athlete
Barksdull only has one kid
Dutoit jumped high but not that high nor has any kids yet i think
Pearce was anither D II athlete so not sure if its any of these
I know nothing about the millers

Much to my dismay, It is not Jacob Davis.....I had my buddy get ahold of him and it is certainly not him. I don't know of any greats that would cause "shock waves" that have been listed here, so I am beginning to doubt the credibility of all this.

Randy was around 18'5" at Purdue and J.J. (not related) was over 18' at both Texas and later Angelo State.

Actually he was both DI & DII. He jumped around 17'8" at UTEP before transferring to TAMU-Kingsville.

Is this one big April fools joke?
