cause of hamstring pain?

cause of hamstring pain?

my trail leg's hamstring (left) starts to hurt more and more the more and more i jump... any one have this problem or know what causes it? and how to fix it?

what causes it to hurt....what motions at the hip and knee?

whenever i plant the pole it hurts, running and all that doesnt really hurt it,
i have the habit of planting under,,, not too sure whats causing the hamstring pain...

good morning

i "really" hate to say this.. but have you checked the run?

see if you are "out" and stretching under...

"MID CHART" will give you a good idea.. compare the last six step distance to the grip..

of course being watched by a coach to see if you are stretching and /or braking in your run...

sorry i have no idea what you mean by seeing if im out and stretching under,,,

and the only part about the mid chart i know how to use is take off mark according to grip height...

good morning

the takeoff mark is determined by your reach height...shorter vaulters will be farther out than the chart and taller vaulters closer in than the chart........ the "MID" from the chart is a better indicator of the correct amount of speed needed for each grip. a 12 foot grip needs a "MID" (6 steps from takeoff) close to 40 feet..
