The tentative start lists are now posted at:
Tacoma: http://polevaultpower.com/streetvault/t ... 8start.php
Alki: http://polevaultpower.com/streetvault/alki/08start.php
These lists also contain the times. Please note that registration is still open until June 29, so additional entries may force me to adjust groups.
Please remember that Tacoma is July 4th as always and Alki is July 5th. Alki is always the Saturday after the 4th, every so often they are back to back. If you were somehow confused about the date and can't make it on the 5th, please let me know ASAP, otherwise there will be no refunds.
I am very excited about the number of elite vaulters thinking about coming up. Due to most vaulters of that caliber being unable to jump their best two days in a row, and having a limited amount of prize money, I have chosen to put most of the prize money in the Alki meet. This will also allow any women at the Olympic Trials who don't make finals to come up and jump this day.
I do want to have some prizes for the winner of the Tacoma meet. I will have a box at the meet to take donations. Money or gift certificates are always handy, but you can also donate things such as tape, chalk, toys, food, etc.
If you are interested in helping the elite vaulters get up here, you can make a donation to Club Northwest. We have already covered all of our expenses for the meet in entry fees, this money will go directly toward prize money and helping athletes pay for the gas to get up here. Let me know if you are interested in doing this. Your donation will be tax deductible, Club Northwest is a non-profit.
Finally, another way you can help is by helping us reduce costs. If anyone has a large truck or a trailer we could borrow to move the pits, please let me know. This will help us reduce the money we need to spend on rental vehicles.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

I am too exhausted to type them up. Loreah did decent yesterday, 11'7 maybe? Not so well today, it's tough to jump two days in a row. No PRs for any of the high school elite, though many were close.

Thanks!
Thanks, Becca. I talked with Loreah yesterday and she said that she did have a tough one at Alki. She was real excited about Tacoma, though. A lot of fun.

Re: Tacoma/Alki Beach Vaults
Are the results from Alki posted yet? If they are, where can I find them? Thanks.
