Open Practice in Sand Diego
All the camps seem to be over but I still want to start vaulting or have a way to vault on the weekend. Are there any places that have pits were you can just show up and use them for a fee but not a lesson or camp? and in San Diego

I would imagine that for liability reasons, very few facilities will let you just show up and jump.

Try to contact Jim Curran- He is the vault coach at Fallbrook HS. I'm not sure how far that is from RB, but he usually has year round vault clinics.

I work in RB--when are you guys looking at starting to jump? Do you have an email address for your coach? Send me a PM if you wouldn't mind..
Freight-train... do you guys have poles or are they self supplied? I might be interested in coming up if it's all the same to you...
Re: Open Practice in Sand Diego
Hey LAX PV,
I am Freight Train's dad and Jim Curran uses the pit in our backyard for his camp. Jim has a fair number of poles, particularly for the H.S. boy or girl. His poles get 'hit & miss' as they go up to the bigger poles. My suggestion is to give him a call and he will let you know whay he has. His number is listed above.
