Need a lot of help
Been vaulting for a year now, right now i'm using a 13' 140 spirit holding at 12'6. Currently I weigh 131 lbs and am about 5'9.
Just from looking at the video I can tell I
Look at the bungie the whole time
possibly under
don't finish the vault
Any help is appreciated.
Holding at 12'6 in both videos and it's 8 rights from about 88' and the bungie is at 12'6 not sure where the standards are but pretty sure they are far back

It is very difficult to learn to vault from 16 steps. Do you have access to smaller poles that you can run from 4/6/8 steps with? That would be my first piece of advice: shorten your approach for practice. Secondly, learn to stay behind the pole without swinging at all. Keep your trail leg pointed behind you while you take the pole through the pit and land standing up. Once you can do this then alternate jumps between swinging up over a bar and not swinging and staying behind the pole. You have to get your body under control.

I vault 13 from 4 lefts. Thats the largest approach i've run from so far this indoor season.
Take that into consideration before you fully take into account my critique.
From what i see, the pole is hitting you at take off, sucking your body under causing a premature swing. Your tall so that shouldn't be the case. I'd recommend doing presses, first focusing on pressure with the left arm but without blocking your swing. And also forming the c position from your upper hand grip, to your hips, to your trail leg.

I have smaller poles I usually warm up with a 12' 140 from my 4 step for popups holding around 10' and my 6 step(65') holding at 11'6.
I could probably use the 12' from a shorter step and the 13' from a shorter step, I think i'm going to keep a 6 step until I am able to clear 11'6 or 12'
I realized that I have a weak plant and I also block out which causes me to turn and I'm going to work on fixing that, what other things/drills should I focus on?

At take off, you're getting whacked by the pole and then getting sucked under, causing you to loss a lot of the possible energy you could be putting into the pole. I would recommend doing just some take off drills from 1,2, and 3 steps. Find a pole that doesn't bend at all and work on taking off and staying behind the pole. You should be using your left hand to try and push the pole forwards to the pit and use your right arm to assist in this process (You should be putting most of the emphasis on your left arm). Keeping raising your grip by small increments until you find a grip that still gets your into the pit, but is challenging for you to do so. See how high you can grip, it'll be a good way to see if you're improving or not. Working on your take off will clear a lot of the issues you have. Don't focus on "finishing the jump" right now, as it's not the most important thing and will become a lot easier as your take off improves.
As for the run, as Barto said, 8 steps is way to far for your height. I would try and keep your full run in at a 5 step until you can clear 11'6" - 12. Once you get jumping those heights consistently, you can move back to a six, but the more steps you add to your jump the greater the inconstancy of your jumps. When you're running, work on getting higher knees while running, it'll translate to a stronger take off position once you take off.
Start with your take off, that'll make the biggest difference in your vault. Best of luck!

Yea my coach said the same thing about my bottom arm being too low and I almost hit my head with the pole when I take off. Today I had a short practice and was able to hold at the top of the 13' 140 from my 6 step and I might be able to do it from my 5 step. I have another practice tomorrow and will try to get more jumps filmed.

Oops! My bad.
I did watch his vid yesterday, but not today when I over-reacted to GV's comment.
I'm also a lefty, but I always refer to top arm and bottom arm so that there's no mistake.

Jumped today have about half the jumps on video, I missed one or two good ones. I'm still have trouble planting too late and i'm going to start doing 3-step drills and pole runs to fix it. I don't look at the bungie as much anymore and i'm getting further into the pit, I think if I had the standards further up I would be more confident though.
Standards at 80 for all the jumps except the first one

The slide box wasn't by the side the whole time but it kept getting moved back there btw, I try to keep things i can land on away from the pit.

This is false confidence!
Keep the standards at 80, and you'll find that you'll gain confidence as you adjust your grip up and down. When you start playing with the standards, then you start second-guessing your grip ... which might cause you to lose confidence. It's better to have just one variable to work with - your grip. A high grip and standards "in" is ALWAYS a bad idea for a HS vaulter. With the standards at 80, you don't EVER have to worry about stalling out.

Looking at your last video, it seems that your curling to the pole right after take off. Try and stay behind. Keep upward pressure with your left arm, not forward. Let your chest come forward. that will cause your body to stay behind a little longer so your in the C position.
