Howdy everyone,
We are running the Crystalcitycaverun.com to raise money for an underground PV facility.
Does anyone who has this months T&FN seen an ad for the race?
Thanks, Vaultdad
P.S. if you want to see where the pit will be going, we'll try to get some photos up. Underground, 55-60 degress all year round, no water dripping because its not really a cave. It's a former Sand mine with 45' ceilings in some areas.

Sorry to be so slow with this... my T&FN subscription actually just lapsed, but I renewed online and they sent me the December issue. Your ad is in there!
How did the race go?

Re: Track & Field News Question
Pretty well I think. . .
It only took about 10 million hours of preparation, and then somebody complained because it was very sandy and wanted us to use less sand next time. HELLOOOOO! It's a sandstone mine. We don't put sand there, nature does. 8-)
Thanks for the response. We couldn't get a copy in time. We did however have 385 people show up, and coverage from multiple newspapers. The only flaw in the ointment was the timers this year were terrible, and we'll never use them again.
We already have a pit, so the next stage is the runway. We'll get there eventually.

Re: Track & Field News Question
385 people is a great start!
There are always complaints... if you took out some sand (as if that was even possible) you'd probably have complaints about the course being too hard of a surface Sometimes you can't win!
