Jordan Scott clears 5.45 on his second attempt. They show Scott Roth's second attempt, he goes wide right and comes down on the bar. Whitt has good height over it but also comes down on the bar.

Derek Miles with an easy second attempt clearance (though not exactly booming over the bar). That moves him into third.

Now on to third attempts at 5.45m!

Mossberg makes on his third attempt! Weirich and Roth go out. Roth is one of only 4 athletes vaulting who have the A standard for worlds, he will not be making the trip. One B standard athlete can go, so it's not a done deal for the other three either.

Whitt makes on his third! Bar going to 5.54m

Oh and Niedermeyer passed the last height.

So we are at 5.54 now, 18'2. Walker and Colwick are entering at this height. Neidermeyer passed the last height. Having cleared 5.45 are Both J Scotts, Hollis, Miles, Whitt, and Mossberg.

Jeremy Scott kicks the height off with a miss.

I don't know. He appears to be doing it spur of the moment, maybe he doesn't like the wind or something.

Mossberg clears (not shown)! That is 1cm below his lifetime best and puts him in the lead haha.

They show Hollis jump, he looks like he is over clean and nicks it with his elbow or something.
