Moving up poles

Unread postby Pawelvaulter » Sat Apr 21, 2012 10:23 pm

I just cleared 13'6'' on my six step using a 14' 155. I'm starting to peak out on this pole and i wanted to move up poles so i could get more pop off the end. I moved back to a seven left and almost nothing changed. Im still on the 14' 155. I'm bending it ridiculusly but i cant seem to penetrate enough to get on the next pole. Any advice?

Start by lowering your grip on the 14'155 until you are always landing deep.

Thanks for the advice. I moved my grip to 13'6 and even with a massive head wind I was still getting in. Hopefully I'll move up a pole for Saturday. We're going to Palatine Relays and my team has a chance to beat the meet record for vault. So i cant let them down.
