OH MY GOODNESS, seriously that 5.90 jump was HUGE!!!!!!! Holy camoly if he jumps like that in London ............there is no one who can touch that. That was easily 6.10-6.20 any way you slice it. Go Brad GO USA!

I heard on facebook (from somebody who was watching) that he stopped after 5.90

His coach said he didn't take them up. I assume that means he either ran through or bailed on all of them.

I have watched this several times and stopped it at the apex and this vault was the biggest and best jump in the history of pole vault!!!!!!!!!!
He would have set a world record with no problem. My estimate of this jump was 6.30 - 6.35, which would shatter the long standing record.

We are all behind you Brad, I see big things for you at the Olympics!! Go USA!

It was a great jump, but the camera angle was terrible for trying to estimate how high over the bar he was...
