What pole vault rules at the meeting were passed for the 2013 USATF rule book?

I will work on a detailed answer in the morning...

Gloves are now allowed.

For youth, min standard setting now 45 instead of 40 (min is 0 for open and masters).

More to come...

Is it official that gloves are allowed? I wear gloves when I vault during the winter and love them. I use the type of gloves that NFL wide receivers use and the grip is fantastic. I don't even need to tape my poles. I just put marks on them to identify my various grip locations. If gloves are officially approved I will never vault again without them.
