steal my thunder

Steal My Thunder - And to beat all he was well over 4.30 on all his attempts but hit it on the down side - - on a pole he had never touched until that day - probably would have made it but the orange and blue stripped tape job probably weighed to much ;) - He, Emil Pawlik (65) and Kay Glynn (51) where the stars of the meet - Kay had never done a track meet until this year and never jumped at a crossbar until the meet - cleared 2.30m and looks to go 60cm higher once she figures out standard placement etc. - Emil is still the man - Emil 8.67 4.84m 10.58m 1.49m 9.90 2.70m 4:07.20 - full results at www.harriersolutions.com - pictures later this week at www.decamouse.com - won't be back in office until Thursday - another year and a few months and I can get out of Ken's age group

The rest of us (45-49'rs) have been put to shame. Those are absolutely awesome numbers. Mega-Congratulations to the elder Ellis. I look forward to seeing him again in Boston at the Nationals (though I'm sure that I'll be finished jumping before he even starts!).
