all of his take offs are like this, but this is the worst....that's some scary lookin sh!t

http://polevaultpower.com/media/04ncaam ... 00261.html

is it just me or are his feet crossed?

That's the guy from Coastal Carolina. He turned up on EVERY ONE of those vaults pictured.

He took off at 14'6" when he should have probably been at 13'. It was insane. I thought I was hallucinating that he was taking off on two feet yesterday and from those pics it looks like he may have been.

I jumped against Mark a couple of times, and he has always jumped like that. If you think about it, hes doin alot right. His hips are staying way back, hes loadin the pole well, and his step is way out. He gets alot of swing from the legs being there, and he flies off the top. Its just a little unorthodox...

One of the pics on the texassports.com site is one of this guy from the front. His foot doesn't quite go behind the other one, but it looks like it from the side.
That's Jodie!!

A scripture that makes me think of all you girls and guys pole vaulting....

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
