ok, ive only competed on 3 board runways: notre dame indoors, good runway, grand haven beach vault, to extreme a downhill for me but good considering it was set up on sand.
the indy state fair was the best though. incredible runway

Jeff Hartwig (consistently in the top 2 or 3 meet after meet)
Toby Stephenson (top of his game now)
Brad Walker (He's the young favorite in my mind. He could be great for years to come.)

Those are my picks for the best shot at the team. I tend to agree with Russvault, you just never know what will happen at the trials. One of them will not make the team, it never fails, because someone will have a bad day. Who will it be? We'll find out in July. Several of the other "A" Standard guys will have a great day and one will take the remaining spot. Nick, Tim, Tye, Russ, Derek, Justin, Eric, Tommy,... I figure one of them will be the one to slide into the last spot.

Stacy Dragila
Andrea Dutoit
Jillian Schwartz

Chelsea Johnson could be a spoiler if she is on.

Would that be the "Dave Johnson", former coach of vaulters like Earl Bell and Mike Tully? or is that Dave Johnston? Met him last year at EB's. He's a really nice guy. Sure knows vaulting too.

Just says Dave Johnson...........no bio for him. By the way, if you are a fan of track and field and you do not have a subscription to Track & Field news you are nuts ( http://www.trackandfieldnews.com ) AND http://www.eurosport.com is the place to be on line for a news site from around the world.

Dave Johnson
Use to coach Mike Tully in Ca. worked for the USAcoaches association in Florida. Invented the gadget bar lifter, the egg shaped pole tip, stride marker builder system, and many other items used in track and field today. He does know the vault
I love the PV, it is in my DNA
