slowly but surely 15' for women will begin to look more like 18' for men than the 19' it seems like now.

I doubt it. There are still only a handful of women with takeoff velocities high enough to make 15' on anything less than a stellar jump. There are still more men over 5.80 than women over 4.60. I think we will see that stabilize to be a pretty even match over the next couple of years.
