Here's a link to the the status of entries for the Olympic Trials. It's amazing how many marks are incorrect...in both directions!

Which ones are incorrect? I know its not any of the mens marks. I witnessed 90% of them and the ones I didn't see were at big meets where a lot of other people saw them. I have actually been surprised that there haven't been any last minute "out of nowhere" marks. Everyone on that list is a legitimate 5.60 jumper, and remember, we have had 2 years to do it.

I was thinking the same thing but the qualifying period was January 1 2003 to July 1 2004.

What is a time of 11:07.0 in the 100 meters?? which was recently updated to *22.80 - which means from an alternate event??? -

USATF has some rule where if you qualify in one event you can opt up the next event in distance or down to the next shortest event - I think thats how it goes. Say I qualified in the 5000 but wanted to run the 10000 I could opt up. Don't ask me why they have it.

I wonder if LoJo is injured again. He jumped 5.65 earlier in the season but never bothered to submit that mark. He still shows 5.40 from his only meet last season.

Yeah me neither he just dominated 96, and silvered at the games in sydney. At 30 years old hes way to old to jump 19ft with his inferior athleticism. I will never count LOJO out espiecially if he ever learned how to run and plant the pole correctly.

You can't count anybody out. In '00, no one expected Hartwig to not make it past qualifying and only 5.63 to take the 3rd spot. Weird things happen.
