Further than Niagra falls is i think

But without the water or a barrel. :dazed:

He is a very fortunate and blessed young man to have survived the fall. O:-)

Got to be a mistake since he wasn't even in USA Juniors that sends you there. Should be Chip, Adam or Mitch (in that order) with Brandon since they are the only ones who met the World qualifying mark.

Glad to hear Matt is doing well though.

I emailed the contact guy on the press release and he had no idea who or what I was talking about. I sent him a link to the press release.

We have known Matt for years. My son is a teamate and friend of Matt's at BYU , (also a vaulter). We heard about Matt from His Dad . His parents were on their way to Alaska to visit another son , Victor ( also a vaulter ) who works with the BYU vault coach up there during the summer as a fishing guide. We too, were in Alaska when this frightening news came and we were all devastated, worried he had been taken from us. It is nice to see his friends here prayed for him and support him. The word we hear is that his neck is not broken and his back and head are fine , other then some memory loss. he is fine...and will jump again ! Truly a miracle for a nice kid. It helps to know how to fall !

He was on the the USATF Juniors team a couple of years ago the June before his mission. ( We were there as our son was jumping too ) The USATF has him posted on the 2004 team... yes it is a mistake, he is 21 now and will be home from his mission in August.
