(although some of these don't surprise me, considering i don't think it'd be easy to vault in a burka, or whatever the body covering is called in the respective countries)

Women's Vault Records--How many countries?
My files currently include women's national records for 109 countries, men's national records for 201 countries. By far the most comprehensive publication of records in all track and field events is "National Athletics Records for All Countries of the World," edited by Winfried Kramer, et. al. The 2003 edition of this book has records for 226 countries. This would indicate that all but 25 countries that keep any t-and-f records have men's vault records, but only about half that many have women's vault records. RR
