If I remember right Toby smashed one in qualifying in 2000 and came right back and made the bar to make the finals.

Recall seeing ina article that Kellie had broke one during the SkyAthletics Meet earlier this year - so that had lessed the impact of this break on her mental ability to keep jumping

Yes she did the same thing in the skyathletics meet her step was out. As most people are aware poles can break if your plant and step overloads the pole no matter the brand of the fiberglass stick!!!

Kellie is a tough chick. She and jillian have the ability to jump 16'+ and that is what it will take to get in the top three at the Games.

Keep pitching I will keep hitting them back?

I agree - also do not recommend busting a pole to get the experience - I think it will take at least 475 - possibly with no misses - Right now there are five vaulters that have jumped over 470 active
