Looked like step problems ............... of couse the broken leg thing causing a half hour delay couldnt have helped either.............I wonder what happened with that (since they gave no details other than it halted the qualifying for 30min while they took her off the track).

Bummer............not a single US finalist for us in the womens vault.............We WILL fair much better with the men!!!

SAD for all the USA GIRLS

Unread postby Bruce Caldwell » Sun Aug 22, 2004 5:04 pm

SAD that it ended for all the girls this way. IN the Olympics one's focus can be taken to other things sometimes just the awe of it all!

Just look at what's happened to Jeff Hartwig...that ought to be a pretty good example of the fact that anything can happen! :(
That's Jodie!!

A scripture that makes me think of all you girls and guys pole vaulting....

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

agreed. those chicks have already shown what they can do, one bad day shouldn't define their careers... it just sucks that it happened at the olympics
