The 100th best mark from last year is the same as the 70th best mark from the same year!

I'm pretty sure that is how they determine it.

From everything I have been told, the 100th best mark is the mark to make...so whatever that was...I do believe opalkak is right on this one.
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

The 100th best mark is 5.00 meters (16'4 3/4").

5 meters i think may be a little low, even though i didnt go to regionals cus of my horrific outdoors , but there were so many people there i here which kinda suks. im redshirting this year so im all for the raising of the mark. it will also start getting the east coast in gear, cus we are lacking the higher heights the other regions are making not just because we dont have what it takes, but we just arent exposed to that kind of jumping that often which does help a lot when you are competing , gives you that extra push. i say raise the mark and watch the heights in the east also get higher.

it should be 5.10m. That way it would be four inches higher, not two.
