Human Kinetics is about to publish the second edition of my textbook on biomechanics. They chose a great photo of a vaulter for the cover. Check it out at this link:

I didn't supply them with the photo - so they got it from their own library of photos. I don't recognize the vaulter. Does anyone know who he is?

Thanks for the suggestions. I thought the vaulter looked like Dean at first, but then I got a larger photo (it's tough to tell from the small photo on Human Kinetics website) - he is definitely not Dean (I did have a photo of Dean in the first edition of the book-but not on the cover). I think Becca's suggestion is good - especially after looking at the photos of Dave Lemen that Becca posted - thanks!
