Training for Indoors (Inside or Outside)

Unread postby VaultNinja » Thu Oct 28, 2004 3:39 pm

I was just wondering how many elite/emerging elite folks train outside during or prior to the indoor season. I was also wondering if you do train inside, if you have to share your facility with anyone (not track oriented)?

I may not be an emerging elite yet, but I'm answering the question for when I become one. (soon) ;)

In my region (Barcelona, Spain) there are no indoor facilities where I could train everyday so I have to deal with cold weather.

well i think it has a lot to do with the weather...if it is cold inside and you do have a place inside to train why not but if its nice out you might as well train outside...thats how i look at it

I (Netherlands) prefer to stay indoors in Sittard...
Here it’s a lot colder than in Spain.

Well, of course here is warmer than in Netherlands, but from January to March I have to deal with temperatures like 0-2 degrees (C) and the pit wet, so I wish I had an inside track to train...
