I say that we toss Stones for 2008 (okay let him do hj commentary), but let's bring in Jan Johnson as the expert pv commentator. He's forgotten more about the pole vault than Stones ever knew, and he'd bring more enthusiasm than you can shake a stick at.

Maybe the world could learn something about the sport with Jan as commentator.

Anybody else want to draft Jan for the 2008 commentary? What do you think?

Great idea! Jan would be awesome to host the pole vault commentary. He is certainly charismatic and funny enough and very intelligent. When I went to his camp, he had this consistent ability to be entertaining and very credible at the same time. He could certainly make the commentary interesting.
