My aunt and uncle on my mothers side live in southwestern virginia(not quite as far west as blacksburg)......the mullet problem is SO bad that they didn't even realize they had mullets....My uncle has what I like to call the "cajun mullet"...he is from louisiana....slicked back hair--real long in the back. My aunt..well..hers is as mullety as it gets. Short in the front...hair all the way down to her waist in the back  Pretty impressive mullet to say the least.

I saw a mullet family at Indy 2 summer before last... Papa Mullet, Mama Mullet, Brother Mullet, and Sister Mullet (or maybe it was a little brother now that I think of it).

I am too discreet, I never did get a good picture of them all together.

Mullets, unlike their fishy namesakes swim in the shallow end of the gene pool!!!

I myself, throughout my mullet hunting days have seen most all the mullets. Although, there is one species that i have not been able to locate, nor many others. It is the rare frolet. (fro-mullet) A fro with hair down the back. How Amazing! There has only been one recording of this. But I plan to continue on and find this frolet and finish my sightings book once and for all.

(the book once finished will be in any local barnes and noble stores for only 9.95)
Just you wait...

Mullets are common at my school. Not a day goes by when i don't see the kid with they red mullet that goes down past his shoulders.

It even became a sport to try and breed mullets. this happened last year around conference, when a majority of the varisty team grew out their hair all year long in an effort to create the best mullet. Their success was their demise.

This land o'mullets has many a pitfall. The school, whilst teeming with young mullets and grangy long hair, is also the land of scary looking, but well meaning Goths and the oh-so-occasional weekly fistfight. On other occurances, a race war was all but verbally declared. But the mulletarians remained unaffected, secluded to their own space.
