Yay Kierney!! That's a big PR for Kierney Hiteshew of Georgia, who broke her PR of 4.00 meters, set 2 years ago. She missed all of last season after blowing out her knee in the very first indoor meet of the year.

I think that is a season best for Florida's Chelo Canino.

1,5, 7 and 10 for the LadyBacks, pretty good show. Anybody who gets 4 girls over 3.80 deserves a trip to the Dart Room.
Winners find a way to win, losers find an excuse.

Stacie Manuel, Arkansas-Winner Women's Pole Vault
"This was a good win. I got a lot of things accomplished and worked on a lot of things. For instance, I was clear until the second to last bar, and I got some poles cleaned up. I knew I had a shot (to win), but I knew it was SEC's and I had to step up. I had a teammate jump a PR, so this was a good meet before nationals."

Brad Smith, Georgia -Winner Men's Pole Vault
"It started off a little scary because it took me three attempts to make the first height. Everything started clicking after I made the first height. I was able to get the next ones. Everything just felt a little off at first. But I guess I figured it out and was able to win the competition."
