When I shrink the pic, it doesn't change the pixels...what should I do?

i can't get my avator to upload properly. i made sure to check for the size to be 100x100 and that its below 20 kb, but its still not workin.

you have to make sure you uploaded it to a site that allows other sites linking it (geocities, tripod, anglefire do NOT let you do this)

I say use photobucket.com (I think that's the url...

If anything, your url might be a little too long too, some php boards tend to cut off the url after a certain point.

well, I'm not Becca, but I'll try to help...

I was just talking to Becca about it...according to the source code of this page, the avatar is being linked to the forum/images/avatars folder, which hints that the avatar has been loaded onto the server. If you still have the picture, I recommend relinking it in your profile settings.

delete your current avatar and upload it again. THat should help... both Becca and I don't know any other solution to the problem.

If you do not have the avatar on your computer anymore, Becca said she'll make one for you, but she does not have a lot of time to make one anytime soon... I'm also offering to make one for you if you need a new one.

okay, i used photobucket and uploaded my image. after i submitted it, an error message came up:

Could not write avatar file to local storage. Please contact the board administrator with this message

i have the avator image, is it possible that becca be able to stick my image into my account?

Yeah I know, something is wrong. Give me a day or two to work on it. I have to finish the pictures from NCAAs, and then I am going out to my friend's lake house O:-)

yea, I tried the photobucket thing myself with that same error... I forgot to post about this after I tried... As you noticed, my NEW icon isn't even working...so I'm not sure what is wrong myself... Becca is going to have to look at the code sometime and see what's wrong...

I'd try to help her, but I don't have any access to anything...haha...
