Feofanova has a ruptured disc. Doubtful she will ever be the same again.

Janson has all the tools to be, but she ain't gonna do it taking off at 8'.

True true. She hasn't been the same since her fall at the 2003 USATF's Championships. But she has the speed, the technical stuff in working order, just needs to take off!

ha, as if the take off has nothing to do with the "technical stuff".

either way though, i wouldnt be shocked if it were an american who was next to get 5m. i dont think it will happen for a couple of years though

lets see if we can get a consistant 15 footer first....
then maybe a 15'6 jumper ....then maybe a woman to clear 16 in the u.s.........then we can start this conversation....to be cont in 5 years....

If Stacy can stay healthy and figure out her takeoff, she's got the tools to go 5m, but i think someone else will get there before she does....

It will most like be another european, because the are not very many Americans that are even close to jumping 5 meters.
