Frozen Mile

Unread postby meg15078 » Tue Dec 06, 2005 9:24 am

Is any of your schools doing the frozen mile too??
- It where you run and after you get 350 miles you get a free shirt, you get 3 month to get the miles in

350 miles in 3 months!?
That is some hard core milage for the average bear...

By my calculation, which could be wrong, that is about 30 miles
per week!
I am just going to go out on a limb here and say...
that is WAY too much running for a POLE VAULTER!

Any expert opinion want to comment?
(I could have no idea what I am talking about!)

the cross country team here was up around 100 or so for a little while this season. 80 or above is not uncommon for them.

I don't think that's too much, I normally do about 60 a week, and still finding time to get in speed work
