Robbie Pratt 5.50

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Sun Jan 15, 2006 2:29 am

Not a bad start to the season.

Now I know that the mormons get a bit longer with their eligibility, but I think someone made a mistake in his year of eligibility :P

Code: Select all

 Finals
1 Robbie Pratt              Fr Brigham Youn             5.50m   18-00.50
     4.30 4.45 4.60 4.75 4.90 5.05 5.20 5.30 5.40 5.50 5.60
PPP  PPP  PPP  PPP  PPP  PPP  PPP  PPP  PPP  XXO  XXX

Opening at 5.50 is pretty impressive for a first meet of the season!

It is kind of complicated... But Robbie went on a mission for 2 years for our church (i'm sure you have heard of them) But I think thats what you are thinking of. He took 2 years for a mission and then came back. So i dont think that effects his eligibility.

Expect the unexpected. BYU ROCKS!
Just you wait...

We talked about this in another thread. Your 5 year clock stops if you go on a mormon mission.

not to be a dick but, that rule is really . religion is a choice, why should you be given extra time. you have to make decisions on what is important to you. why does one school suddenly get extra years. because of their choices.

I assume it applies to any mormon at any school.

Does the NCAA let Christians or any other religion stop their clock if they take time off school to go on a mission trip?

To play devils advocate...would you think it would be in your best interest to take two years off and not touch a pole?
