Mizuno triple jump/pv spikes

Unread postby pvu-hooligan » Wed Apr 12, 2006 2:40 pm

I ordered last years model of the mizuno triple jump/pole vault spikes from dick pond athletics. Took a week to get here after they got my payment. They were very cheap too, $39.98 + $7.50 shipping. I just got them this morning, they came in yesterday but i didnt check my front door, as i go in the house through the garage. In the box they included my receipt, a flyer for the close out specials on event specific mizuno spikes (all $39.98!) and their catalog. The shoes came with the standard things, shoes, laces, spikes, and spike wrench. Mizuno has some weird spikes...they look like compression spikes to me and the key has a way different design from any ive seen. pretty cool. They have an 8-spike plate. After lacing them and putting in the spikes, i tried them on. They fit great. i got half a size bigger (10) and its mad comfortable. These shoes seem good, they'll really keep me on my toes when accelerating in. This is just my mini review of them. Ill let you know how they do today when i go to practice. The only other spikes i have to comare is the nike zoom rival d plus. so ill be making comparisons later on today. Ill include pics too. bottom line, Dick Pond Athletics is great to do business with. They have a lot of event specific spikes and discontinued/older models in a lot of sizes.

I've got 6 pairs of the mizunos. My absolute fav, Dick Pond ran out of my size for the special. I use my old ones for outdoors b/c they still have the same stability although are a bit dirty. I bought 2 pairs on ebay for a total of $62 but they shipped to my old address (partially my fault but my old neighbors or previous landlord never saw any package on the porch) and the seller wasn't very cooperative with a refund.
