Novi High School Record broken

there was an article here about the novi jumpers. me being one of them. and on 5/4/06 i broke our school record or 13'4.75'' with a whopping jump of 13'5''. it was a bad day in general. i was tired and it was my first day jumping after resting a pulled groin. i finaly got on a decent pole a 14'7'' 176' essx carbon holding about 13'5''-13'7'' from 5 lefts and i almost jumped 14' (blew through the pole) . but hopefully my next meet i will be back at a 6 or 7 left run with a higher grip and bigger pole. i will post again if i jump any better

my next meet is today and the groin is better as far as i can tell. so hopefully weather forbidding i will get on my big poles and jump well and get a PR

well as it turns out i jumped better and needed a bigger pole yesterday. but my teammate jumped 13'6'' to edge out my record by an inch. it was kinda funny the way people reacted but i am happy for him. he can have his day now before i am back to 100%
