Info on Javelin
OK, figuring that I'm just a mediocre pole vaulter, I'm thinking that I might as well try to be a mediocre javelin thrower too. Does any of you guys know what weight javelin I would be required to throw for the 50 - 54 and up age group. I know that for the NSGA next year I only have to throw a 600 gram javelin. I'm just wonderin' if that's the case for Masters competition this year while I'm 54. Or, are there know weight differences in the javelin for us old geezers. I'm just looking into this now so if any of you have an answer and some links I could go to that would be great. Thanks............Mike

From what I get out of this Gill page, it looks like 700 gram is good for ages 50-59
