Unread postby distancejumper » Thu May 11, 2006 9:38 pm

theres a sophmore on my team that is amazing at every event he does. He was a sprinter and started polevaulting last year(jumped 9'8). he runs 52 400. A couple of weeks ago he tried an 800- first one ever and ran a 2:03. Last week our coach had him long jump at a meet. He jumped 18'7 with like the werse form possible.(thats amazing for southeast minnesota)

my friend did that her first year of track too....broke almost every record that our team had. and she had only been our manager the year before, she didn't even want to run at first!

I jumped 14', ran the 100 in 11.4, 200 in 23.0, and LJ 19'4, but sounds like ill have some competition come 2008!
The greater the challenge, the more glorious the triumph
