i weigh 160. But i think the world record for most mass over a high bar goes to Scott Wenholz. This guy weighs about 250 and jumps 17'2" . I hear he's on 10.'s, same size poles as bubka was on.

Wow Wenholz didn't look nearly that big in Neovault.

I weigh in at 200 pounds and I'm only in high school. When I first started, we had to cut a foot and a half off of a 170 pound pole just so that I would have something to use

This does not count as this was never in competition

This does not count as this was never in competition and was on an illegal pole GRIN
10 years ago LOL at Earl Bell's place I jumped 6' and weighed 290.
I used a special thick wall training pole that was rated under my weight.
I should of used a stiffer pole becasue my standards were 4.5 feet back and I landed deep
I hear someone else jumped 7' there to break my FAT MAN RECORD and weighed 300 lbs.

LOOKING for a pattern for a 10'8"-275lbs ESSX pole but I think it may not bend.
:D
I love the PV, it is in my DNA

Let's see...I vault with a guy right now that weighs 215# and is holding 3' down on a 14' skypole...then there is a coach that I met at camp last summer who jumps 16' holding around 15' on a 16 ft Carbon FX, oh yeah he weighed 235# he said, and his pole was 200. And my coach last year vaulted 7' on a 13' 180# pole holding around 12'...the bad part is he weighed 245# of steel muscle, arg! :) So it seems like the guys are topping the "heaviest vaulters" list...what about the girls? I jump against a girl now that weighs 165 and jumps 8'! Thats the heaviest girl I have seen...but shes not fat, she is just extremely gung-ho and muscular. She had a full ride somewhere but lost it due to injuries, pretty sad.
Hey is that a pole in your hand or are you just happy to see me?
