LA CROSSE -- Jay Plemon of the Park Falls High School track and field team placed seventh in the Div. 2 pole vault at the WIAA state track and field meet Friday, June 2, at Memorial Stadium on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Plemon, a sophomore, cleared 13-6 at the state meet.
“I’m happy with the year. I’m a little disappointed not to get on the podium. I should have taken the jumps at 14-0,â€Â
